Why do you want to join The Nightshift?
I'm looking for a low-stress guild that isn't raid-obsessed but interested in the journey more than the destination - I don't care if i don't see all the content just as long as I can explore any aspect of the game, preferably with some like-minded people. I'd maybe like to do a bit of raiding, but I don't want to be in a guild where raiding>everything and nothing else that this game offers gets much of a look-in. From what Ive seen, raiding tends to bring out the ugly side of people more than anything, although it can bring out the most amazing sense of achievement. I'm equally happy doing group quests or just unwinding fishing (which I love, but sadly never managed to win the STV fishing contest yet)
Have you been in any other Guilds?
Yes - I was in a largish guild on Aggramar and stopped playing for a few weeks prior to Wrath (I wasn't even going to upgrade) as the stress of being in a large guild (>100 people) which was veering imo towards hardcore raiding killed the enjoyment of the game. I had been in that guild, or playing with them, for almost 3 years and had been an officer most of that time, so 'moving on' was quite a difficult decision, epecially as some of the guild had become more than just pixels.
Professions (If any)?
Zar is a tailor/enchanter. I will skill her up as I go along but I'm in no rush to get all the way even though there are some cool craftables waiting, especially flying carpets which look great!
I also have a herb/miner, skinner/leatherworker, alchemist/engineer on other 'mains' - I don't tend to distinguish between main and alt.
Your Age?
*cough* over 30. Let's leave it there.....
Location (Optional)?
Southern England
